Got this for $160. There are some nicks but nothing a sander and paint cant fix. The main cosmetic issue is that the ring of one woofer is missing. Have to look for a KLF-C7 woofer on ebay. Actually the KG3.5 and KG3.2 woofers are of the same size. So a ring from them would also work. Will see. I do have the grille but I dont like to cover my speakers with the grille. It is like a picture of a beautiful woman with a sun glass :-)

Why spend $549 on RC62II if $160 and some paint can give a center that is better?

This Onkyo sub is just left over from the Onkyo setup a new sub is in within the next couple months after I research them.

Just purchased a new media center, and unfortunately the shelves are too small for a rc-52 or rc-62 to fit (I have rf-82s). Would the rc-42 not even be worth trying, or is there a discontinued model that is a tad smaller than the rc-52 that would be better than the rc-42?
Thanks!

I have a pair of WB14s that I've run as fronts and now as rears and I can attest to their build quality and gorgeous sound. They blend perfectly with my RF25s and RC35. I'm actually thinking about moving my current fronts and center and going with the WF35 and WC24 to complete the look. I'm just not really sure yet.

I paid $380 for the rc62 brand new, and it sounds wonderful for my setup.

I have owned RC3, RB25, RC62, RB81, RF82, RC62II. Sold them all!!!

Sure the RC62/RF82 combination isnt bad but I didnt think it had the bang for the buck. Sure I lost some money but I didnt pay full MSRP either. I paid $768 shipped for RF82, sold within 6 months and got $550 as it was basically brand new (I had not put in a lot of hours as I didnt like it). Who pays full MSRP, only doctors and lawyers pay full MSRP :-)

If I dont like a gear I just get rid of it and try something else. I have tried other mid level speakers like B&W 602 S2, PSB T6, Magnepan MG12, Def Tech CLR 2000/2002, Mirage ONMI60 etc. I had also listened to Paradign Studio series, Monitor Audio Silver, Vienna Aoustics Mozart (over my budget). So I didnt have anything new that I knew I would like and some dealers were also too far from my place. I saw the Klipsch KG 4.2 on ebay, bought it, liked it so bought the other KG line also.

I am not buying anymore speakers except KG 5.5 or KLF-10 but they are hard to come by locally. Still looking.

I don't think you have heard them both in you living room. So dont shake your head in disbelief. I am not comparing KLF-C7 and RC64

There are a lot of choices out there if one is willing to do a bit of DIY. IMO RC62/RC62 II looks better but I like the bang for the buck from KLF-C7. There was a pristine KLF-C7 that went for $229 on ebay. It was local but I didnt get it as it was light oak and too much work to make it black.

I should have gotten into the used Klipsch market 7-8 yrs ago. Then I would not have spent on any of the speakers that I bought new.

If it makes you guys feel better I will say that the KG/KLF series would be like 85-90% of the RF series (except the top of the line i.e RF63/83, RF7, RC64) but for a fraction of the cost. The RFII series looks sleek but I like the look of the KG/KLF with those bigass woofers. May not have the WAF but who cares, I dont have to worry about WAF.

I have some CornScala's Pop made many years ago that need restoring. I love the way they sound but those Cornwall's are too nice to change over.

My last order from Vanns (RF-7's, 82's, everything was half off) was damaged. The grills were broken and there were some minor nicks on the speakers.

I got new grills and and extra $100 off so I was OK w/ the whole transaction. A black felt pen covered the nicks.

Is there a code to get half off or how do you get it?

Does anyone know if I can replace the horn on my RF-32 front tower speaker? I seem to have blown the tweeter. Any idea where I can get replacement parts?

Did you call the Factory? I am not sure if Bob Crites has parts for ths model.
Check the cross over as you may have damaged it too. Played it too loud did you?? Or your amp has issues.

Ever wonder what the new rf-7ii looks like side by side with the old rf-7. Wow they make them look small.

RF7II: 48.5x16.3x11.6 (HxDxW)
RF7: 45x16x11.6 (HXDXW)

Main difference is the height. Probably an optical illusion that it looks wider and the woofers look bigger :-)
agreed. is that taken with a wide angle lens?
