I really like my WF-35/WC-24 setup. It sounded better than the polk setup that my coworker has but his is about 5 years old now. You might chalk that up to the high sensitivity and the receiver not needing to work as hard. Most people seem to recommend the reference line but for the same price or less (on newegg sales every week), you can get superior cabinetry and full sized towers. It's probably just buyer's bias but I've listened to the RF-52 iis as well and didn't feel like they were any upgrade to the WF-35s in terms of sound. I may have to audition them in my house to compare because they were in the showroom, but that's how it goes. If WAF is important, the Icon W series looks amazing and just happens to sound great too.

"So I have some Polk monitor 60's ATM and they have almost no midbass and the highs are severely sharp. Was looking into the wf-35 towers and the wc-24 center. Does anyone have experience with these? How do they compare to the poll monitor series as far as music quality and movie dialogue? Is it a worthwhile upgrade?"
