Okay, fellas, here is my question: I am running a 7.2 system with the following components:

KF-26
KC-25
S-3 (X2)
SB-20 (X2)
Sub 12
BIC Pl-200
Pioneer Elite VSX-52

However, in a few weeks, I will be replacing the floorstanding and center speakers with RF-81ii (X2) and RC-52 ii, respectively. Will my receiver have enough juice to power these new fronts and center? Do I need an additional amp, or should I be just fine? I use it mainly for movies, games, and music. Room is about 12 X 20.

Looking at upgrading my Klipsch B-2s and was looking at the Klipsch KF-28s. I was wondering if this upgrade would be worth it. If it helps at all my AVR is a Yamaha RX-V671, center is a Klipsch c-1 and sounds are s-2s and my sub is a Klipsch SW-450.

Guys looking for some input on the following Klipsch Reference speakers for a 7.x setup:

RS42II - I'm going to be using a pair of these as my surrounds L and R of the seating area. I was going to get a pair of RB51II as rears. I need to wall mount the RB51II - what wall mount can I use for these? How does the keyhole work exactly for mounting purposes? Is the best mount pinpoint am40?

The keyhole is to hang the speaker from a screw in the wall. I placed two of the bumpers at the lower left & right edge on my RB-41 II's, so they sit even on the wall, to allow the back port to work. Look up a few posts, there is a mount that was linked that works for the larger sized speakers like the 61's, 81's.

I just purchased a pair of RB51II last night as my rears. I checked out the dimensions and it looks like the Pinpoint AM40 should theoretically work - has anyone tried this? Anyone actually have the RB51II and able to provide any feedback. It looks like the RB51II cant be flush wall mounted since it has a rear firing port that shouldnt be covered.

Does anyone know the differences between the KF-28 at best buy and the KF-30 at H.H. Gregg?

I'm wondering if I should bother with either. Presently I have Monitor 70's as my main speakers but a pair of Klipsch as my surrounds. The surrounds tend to stick out during movies at times....maybe because they're closer to my ears. The thing about them is that their sound seems more pronounced than what I get from my fronts and I think I may want to type of sound from my mains.

Looks like that site misprinted. The specs are identical on the klipsch website. Dual 8s, aluminum tractrix 150w handling.

Are Sunfire amplifiers a good match with Klipsch speakers? Specifically referring to the TGA-7401. Will be using with RF-7, RC-7, and RS-7.

Possible overkill, but I'd say yes as it is rated to 4-ohms. The impedance dip of the RF-7 is what you need to be concerned with and that amp appears to be fine with it.

(I don't believe in matching the sound signature of an amp to speaker, if that's what you meant.)

Just ordered a pair of RF-82's and RC-62 on clearence sale. I have an Outlaw 755 amp, rated 200 watts rms x 5, sound like a good combo?
Pre is an Emotiva DMR-1

My basement is 20 * 20 with a 10 feet opening on the left side. I am considering the following for mostly watching movies (99%)

Also any idea how the "Klipsch RF-52ii" compares with "Klipsch - Icon Dual 8" 2-Way Floor Speaker" tha BB sells other than the Aluminium and Titanium cones. Do they really make any difference, by spec wise the Klipsch - Icon Dual 8" 2-Way Floor Speaker looks good.

Go for the RF82II system if you can afford it. Sell the Onkyo, not the Marantz. Also, why would you replace the SW-310 with the PW-505?

I thought of selling the Marantz as Onkyo would have enough juice to power these speakers and also to make some money out of it.
AS SW-310 is a 10" sub I was considering the RW-12D or the pw-505, as I am in a impression that a 12" will produce more bass and moreover people are sayig the 310 is over priced for what it gives.

The Marantz is going to power them better most likely, and it's a more updated unit, so future proofing is going to be there. I would say that the 310 is going to out-perform both of those subs, but I suppose I'd have to look at charts to be sure. Ask them if you can get an SW-115, I love mine.

The 5007 has full 7.2 preouts if that means anything to you. It also has Audessy MultEQ XT (never remember how to spell that). I'm biased towards it because I have one powering my Klipsch set-up. Also, wait til the 29th for the RW-12D to come back in stock. It's been said in multiple threads that at 300 it's the best buy.

bump....some one please help. should i return the Yamaha rx 671 or their aventage series like the A2010 or A1010 . There is a huge cost difference but I didn't want to screw up my new Klipsch by underpowering it. Wanted them to have an ideal set up. specs are here

Aud2012 - I would upgrade to a higher end version. The 82iis will handle 150 watts RMS. The RX 671 only puts out 90 watts per channel with only two channels driven, must less in a 5.1 system. While the Klipsch speakers are very efficient they do like and can handle a lot of power.

I agree on the power, I am running a Rotel RMB-1095 with 200 watts/channel RMS with my reference system and it sounds great, especially with great Blu ray movies. I have a large room which can eat a lot of power to listen at loud volumes. I tend to watch movies at -10 to -5 dB from reference. It is loud, but better than a movie theater.
