A friend of Coyote that lives in Arlngton,Texas (not far from me) has invited a few us over.
Thanks to Coyote leting him know several us older Heritage owners were curious about the 402 horns.
I was going last spring and he had water damage to his room from it rainig for days.
He was lucky none of his equipment was damaged. I think he has two Jubilees for fronts and Cornwalls for rears
Crites for center and some folded horn bass bins IIRC. I might be wrong about the subs. I have his email in a PM
on Audio Karma forum. I need to PM him ask when he is going to have few of us over again. My long time
Klipsch friend wants to give thema listen too also. I still have my late dad's clone DIY Khorn cabinets
that have University 15" woofers C15 HC( IIRC it's been many years) and Cobrefex dual mid horns HF206 driver IIRC a UXT-5 Gold tweeter T-30 driver and
a N3 cross over that has two "pots" for the mid horn and tweeter adjustments. They are in storage and need to be refinished.
I talked to Bob crites about recapping the N3 networks and I am looking for someone that is familure with University woofers to recone them if needed.
They have not been played in 10 years. They were Mom 's Lake House for 40 years and two years ago she passed I have them now. And NO room to play
them in even if I had the restored. I talked to Bob Crites about installing all the parts in a cabinet like a Cornwall but he said they would not sound right and dismissed my idea.
I wanted send him the drivers etc have him make a cabinet for them... oh well I will just restore what I helped Pop make back in the 1960's when I was a kid. And try them in my garage when it is remodeled for my music room.
And find out how they sound. http://www.flickr.com/photos/43284454@N04/7984269343/
