KPT-100 is similar in specs to the current KPT-8001, except I prefer the look of the KPT-100. The KPT-8001 sells (new) for about $250 each plus shipping, but shipping to Canada was going to be an expensive proposition (around $300, then 15% taxes on the $800 total). If they had the KPT-8001 in stock (I didn't check), I could have had it shipped to the hotel I was staying at instead of the KPT-100. But then you worry about them not shipping in time... So, for under half-price, I got used but just-repainted speakers that look and work great. And since the KPT-100 is a discontinued product, Klipsch handed out the crossover diagram and people could figure out how to bypass the X-Curve filter. I really thought I was going to buy new this time, but the timing of this garage sale, one week before I was traveling to the US, was too great to pass up.Edited by psgcdn - 8/19/13 at 8:50pm
