Nice LOOKING . ....... you picked out a pair of mint looking CW's. You have some really nice systems. Thumbs UP.
Some day if you see a deal on a SS Class A amp ..........try it There are some really nice tube amps out there too that will make CW's sound so good . But tube maintenance etc is too much for me now as my system is on all day just about every day. My Brothers Pioneer SX-1080 Receiver ROCK my CW's when I borrowed it while I was
waiting on our homeowners insurance to pay for Pop's vintage tube McIntosh separates he gave me, they were FIRED from a thunderstorm.
Lightning strike hit the pole our meter is on, near the roof in the late 80's and fried almost every light bulb, and anything that was plugged it. 1 on million shot. and I get hit.
Oh well HDMI and Bluray etc has changed so much from the 1960's when Pop had Klipschorns and Fisher tubes. I would have had two systems like I do now in the same room
If I still had the MAC's.. My late brother In law was going to replair them and he sold them when he divorced my wife's sister grrrr hosed a second time on them.
Look at these for the back of you CW's if they have the two small screws that clamp down on a small spade or bare wires wrapped around the shaft of the screw.
I promise these fit in the plastic blocks the speaker terminal screws go into. You can use banana plugs or use that as a set screw for a bare wire.
