Svs has a 45 day return. They pay shipping both ways. So its no risk to try one out and see. If you don't like it in your room send it back 100% free. plus you get a chance to see how it sounds
the cylinders are way easy to place that's a round footprint fits in much nicer than you think over a box , plus you can always lay them down behind a couch .They are light weight as well . the design is also efficient meaning they use smaller onboard power amps . two of the smaller work better than one big one due to smoothing out nulls, voids, cancellations . I'm selling mine next summer because I'm building 2 of the 12" driver THT Low Profie folded horn subs
the THT get stupid loud @ below 20 Hz & over 126 Dbs , at just quarter of the gain outta a 300 watt Bash plate amp . people report that they cause windows & sheetrook to break when they go past 1/3 of the volume/gain knob
two of the smaller THT's will work better as I will have more control on placement with two over a large single .
I will go with a "Bench Build " & have them opposing & corner loaded with a bench in front of my picture window
