Hey guys. I currently own a set of the (newer) Klipsch Icon line in 5.1
I have two Icon KB-15' as FR/FL, one center Icon KC-25, two more Icon KB-15's as surrounds, and one Klipsch SW-350 to compliment the set up. My receiver is a Marantz NR1604.
I found a deal online where I'd be able to get a 5.1 set of the reference series for really cheap. The smaller reference, being made of four RB-41 II's (or two RB-41 II's and two RS-41 II's, also about $125 cheaper), one RC-42 II, and one SW-110 subwoofer. For about $675-$800, depending on which speakers I use.
I figured I can probably get around $700 for mu current set up if I can sell it, locally. And then buy that set of Reference. Would it be worth it to upgrade/should I if I can? Meaning I'll probably only pay $100 out of pocket.
If it matters, I do tend to like bass/lower frequencies more. Primary use is for video games, then music, and lastly movies/TV.
