When I use the manual EQ at the "smiley face" that seems to help but obviously that's not a fix as I like to use audyssey for HT. It's like I'm getting too much treble for the dialogue only and it sounds weak and tinny compared to the rest of the soundtrack.
I never had that problem the few years I used my RC-62 between my Cornwalls. My current AVR a Yammie has YPAO and I had increase gain to it so the voices could be
heard during special effects. I had a Onkyo TS-SR805 HD AVR before the Yammie I have (about same specs) and I had to do the same with it.
After I ran the room correction (Audyssey) I used my DB meter and did some manual adjustments on the Onkyo too. Usually increased the gain on
on RC-62 and the RS3-I rears for my the way I like it.
