I would stay away from the KC-25. I own a pair of KF-28's that I like and trialed a KC-25 over the holidays and was not impressed. I was using a KEF C6 with the KF-28's and it sounded way better than the hollow sounding KC-25. I am currently trialing a JBL studio 520 and Klipsch RC-52 II and both are way better than the KC-25.
The detailed dialogue out of the JBL is very impressive, especially when you consider it only has dual 4 inch woofers, and it sounds great with other JBL's, not so good with the KF-28's though. The RC-52 II, on the other hand, sounds great with the KF-28's. I have watched both Ender's game and Riddick on the RC-52 II and Harrison Ford and Vin Diesel's voices sounded great on it, as well as all of the special effects. The scene at the end of the Riddick film where it is raining really sounded great.
If you have a local Fry's they have some good in-store deals on Klipsch Reference speakers. I got the RC-52 II for $299 with tax.
The RC-52 II easily holds its own with the 8 inch woofers on the KF-28's in my room, 19x12.
