I purchased my 55E2000 directly from Sony. Actually, my sister-in-law works for Sony and I purchased it through her. Anyway, the pictured is perfect except the screen tilts about 3/8 of an inch (maybe 1/2 an inch) to the right. In other words, If I see something letterboxed, the right side of the screen is slightly lower than the left side. Does Sony consider this to be a defect? If I call Sony about it, will they send a repair guy out to look at it? I've heard that geometry issures cannot be adjusted, that they have to replace the TV. You would think that Sony would incorporate a way to adjust the geometry in case it got tweaked during shipment. My delemna is that I expect the geometry to be right on when I paid almost $2000 for a TV. On the other hand, I would hate for the replacement TV to have bad pixels. What would you do?
BTW, I am seriously considering purchasing an extended warranty. I rarely buy extended warranties, but this technology is new.
