Earlier, I used high gloss black shoe polish on the bezel of my 732. Do I now own an 831? lol

They are going to change the part number for the screen on the 831 for the 57 and 65, either when the first replacemt one is ordered or by this banter hitting critical mass as it is about to. So to clarify the 57 and 65 diamonds do have a diffrent screen. The diffrence is in the lenticular not the franel. the optical block is also diffrent in the 831 over the 732 and the changes are not cleared to be printed yet because they dont want other dlp manufactures to learn from them. They will change the part number. To those here who questioned me pushing misinfo, let me remind you it was I who went to the top of the food chain at mits and had the website specify the 6 segement color wheel was in the 57 and 65 and 52 only. I said I would get to the bottom of it and I did and the next day they changed the website after I had a talk with the rep on three way call with the webmaster. I told him now if they are printing misinfo that is fraud and a quick call to the engineer set me straight on the facts that it is a diffrent screen "lenticular" and it will have the part number changed to reflect this.
