My only system right now consists of:

Yammy RX-V1 - $2900
Paradigm Studio Ref Monitor 40's v.2 (L/R) - $1100
Paradigm Survo-15 - $1700

Everything is six years old...almost time for retirement to my bedroom...

I was going to do the surrond stuff, and even bought the Studio Ref CC - but then life threw me a curve, and I just never got around to finishing it. I still have that CC that has had maybe 10 minutes use in the past six years. D'oh.

However, now that life is much better, I am thinking about either an Ascend , or Monitor Audio setup using Crown professional power amps and my RX-V1 as a preamp processor...IF the problem I think its having isn't effecting the pre-outs, if it does then I don't know what I will do as I have not given any thought to a pre-amp/processor.

I have a 1994 Fisher Studio Standard RS-727 w/Dolby ProLogic. I get a lot of sneers and jeers because its a Fisher, but when they hear it they usually stand corrected, and have to admit that "it ain't that bad". I have just aquired a second RS-727 for $25.00 off ebay and it works perfectly, I would like to find two more 727's or 737's in the near future, so if anyone has one that they want to unload let me know what you want for it.

I am now going to use my Sony SDP-E800 Digital Decoder to feed into the two Fishers (one for front two channels, and one for the rear channels, with separate sub and center channel amps).

I built my first set of speakers last year using all new drivers in my old KLH AV5001 tower enclosures (dual 12's). They are now sealed and sound great, I get many compliments, but I used out of the box cross-overs and I didn't match them to my speakers properly, and the speakers had to be hooked in series to get the 8 ohms which is giving me problems. So to save space, and get the subs into their own enclosures, I am getting rid of the towers and going to satellites and four sub tubes.

New satellites will have home built .6 cubic foot enclosures (Sealed) with my current drivers plus the addition of the 6 1/2 inch mid basses.

This will be the new line-up;
Morel MDT-20 Tweeters
Morel MDM-55 Midranges
Goldwood GW-206 6 1/2 MidBass

Holly crap Soundood! I was thinking about posting mine, but now I'm going to wait until the next page!

I followed your DTS-20 thread on the Klipsch forum with interest, but didn't realise who you were on this forum before now. The thread ended without final pictures. Get back to it! :-)

Mirage Omni 50 (x2) $200

I picked up a complete JBL system a couple months back. I grabbed the following:

JBL E90 (mains)
JBL EC35 (center)
JBL E50 (surrounds)

BIC H100 (sub)

All for a little over $1k shipped. I use a PIO 1016 for my AVR and got it for $399 when it hit the streets.

Video is a Infocus IN76.

I'm happy with my setup and it's my first one, so as I get pickier I'll upgrade accordingly, but for now I'm rocking.

I'm about to buy my new sound system and i'm not sure which one to choose, between the new high end sound system (best choice in EISA awards 2006) NAD MASTER SERIES (M15, M25 and M55 Universal player) and the already knowned awarded sound systems, ARCAM (Universal player DV29, P7 and AV8) or PRIMARE (Universal player DVD30, SP31 and A30.5). Between these 3 different systems, which one would you recommend me? Any one knows these? I would appreciate and would be very thankfully.
