Is my current progressive scanning DVD "good enough" for my 50PX600, or should I be getting an upconverting DVD player like the Oppo 970? (Will the 600 do just a good of job scaling as the Oppo?)
I have to admit I'm a little tempted to jump into HD DVD, but the first generation players certainly seem to have their issues. Plus, I'd rather avoid the war if I can.
