Sharp or Sony dilemma

I've narrowed my choices down to the Sharp Aquos LC-32D4U and the Sony Bravia KDL-32S2000. I really don't know which one to choose. I think that the Sharp is probably a better tv, buy the Sony looks better design-wise. I am connecting directly to cable (no digital cable) through a Tivo.

Anyone have recommendations???

Thanks in advance for your help!

Oh, prices for both are about the same...only a $60 difference

I think youve answered your own question.
Are you buying the TV to watch the picture on the TV when its on or look at the TV when its off ? :/
I purchased a 45" sharp over a 40" sony bravia. Even though the sharp was larger it still had a slightly better picture showing the same feed

True. I just wanted to make sure and to see if anyone with these TVs had any comments. Thanks for the input!!! :)

I went with the Sony over the sharp. One of the main reasons was because the 32 and under sharps had their displays made my another company and arent as good as the larger lcds. Do a search on the sharp for more info.

LC32D41U and LC32D50U made by Sharp. It is not straight across the board in which 32" and smaller not made by Sharp directly.
