Since I bought my Sharp Aqous nearly two yeasr ago I have not kept up with the LCD direct view HDTV developments.

In addition to Sharp who else is now making direct view LCD HDTV TVs - 45 to 50 inch? Which ones have HDMI 1.3 and can take 1080p input?

Also, other than Sony Bravia who else makes projection LCDs?

By stating LCD Direct View are you referring to Flat panel LCD's. If so Sony has a 46" model , LG, Westinghouse and Phillips have 42", Samsung has a 46" and Sharp has the 45" Some manufactures has announced 50"+ LCD's but have not seen them. Not sure if any can accept a 1080p input.

The new samsung 40 and 46 and the westinghouse 42 and 47 can accept 1080p input. I'll also throw out sceptre as a 42" 1080p set.
