I'm looking to buy a 17 inch LCD monitor and I don't know how to tell the more technical differences between them. All says 8ms, 1024*768 etc... so I'm finding it difficult to distinguish. Thanks.
the 8ms is millisecond response time. Basically the time it takes the set to respond to the signal to display it, the lower this number the smoother the motion. 8MS is really good actually.
the 1024 by 768 is the resolution the display will output at.
Sorry that was a typo, it's supposed to be 1280*1024. I meant most of the specs for the different brands were the same so I can't tell exactly which one is better.
