The HD Fury III was disappointing for me. It works, but it added some artifacts here and there, and the color was - different -. When I took it out and went straight component, the picture was much better. Bob thought I might have have had one that was not totally right, but I didn't want to deal with it any more. The shipping is outrageous, even though they take it back. If there had been a local (US) distributor, I may have tried again. Instead, I found a really good deal on a brand new Cary Cinema 11V video processor. Wow! I've had it for several months now, and the picture is amazing. I now have all video sources going to my home theater processor and then out via hdmi to the Cinema 11V. From the Cinema 11V, I go 1080i out the component connection to the TV. The picture is sharper, color is great, and no artifacts. I'm a happy camper, but it was about 3x the price of the HD Fury III (the retail on it was $4K).
