I have a TH42PD50 with a cable card. I've had it for a little over a year and everything has been fantastic. All of a sudden, on all non-HD channels, the right third of the screen is dark. I know that some sets have required firmware fixes, but I have no idea if this is the problem here. Has anyone experienced anything like this? How do I fix it?

Try the Self-Check Function :

Press VOLUME (-) button on The TV & SLEEP button on the remote simultaneously.

On the Screen Display, anything other that "OK" indicates a problem.

Press Channel + / - to exit.

NOTE: On the 60/600U Models The Self-Check function is also the factory reset. Not sure about the 50/500U Models so write down the pictures setting (if you need to) just in case.
