Panasonic 9UK "Eliminates" burn-in???

I noticed one of the supposed improvements to the new 9UK Panny lineup is some kind of proprietary plasma technology that they claim makes it far less prone to burn-in... they're claiming it's no worse than a CRT. Does anyone have any details? thx!

They have been claiming that since the 7th Generation Models. ;) :)

The 9th gen certainly has improved with burnin resistence but it's still not as good as CRT in this area.

The 8th gen (7th too?) was rated at 60,000 hours half-life for the phosphors. If I watch a TV for almost 7 years straight - 24 hours a day to get it down to half brightness, I need to go get a life ;)
