OK having the experience of one weekend - Channel quantity is great. SD quality is better than D* but HD is slightly inferior. Local HD channels are worse than other HD content so I;ll continue to do my OTA. I had problems setting up my old Harmony remote but I have that working now - primarily for my spouse :-)
The tech used the RG6 that was in place rather than the telephone lines. Set the TVs - both HD - up wrong and I was initially shocked at the HD picture. He had stretched a 4:3, 480i picture rather than set it for HD. He also did not have the back-up power supply with him. Said he would bring it out Saturday. He didn't spoke with him today and said he thought he would have one later this week. We shall see.
Telephone is good.
Internet is good. I got sucked in by the sales guy who told me I would have internet faster than Comcast. What he didn't know was that I have very little competition and typically had 16-24 kbps downloads and now I'm signed up for 6 - but I can upgrade.
All in all, I am pleased and saving a bunch of money!
