Considering Pure Acoustics speakers. *Anyone heard of them? - Page 2

Had a chance to look a little closer at the spkrs on the Sear's website and I don't think I would touch these with a 10ft pole! Surprised at Sears> Reminds me of a list that a man in a "white truck" would use to hawk spkrs along the side of the road. Case closed!

Before you can find the QX 900 floorstanding speakers for $100 a pair at www.thesourcecc.com. It seems too cheap. Now you can't find that speaker anymore, only the bookshelf QX 900

I have the QX900 series of speakers in my basement, still in the boxes. Two fronts, a center, and two rear. No subwoofer. I won them during a contest, but I just bought a set of SVS speakers the week before so these have been sitting unopened for months.

No idea what I'm going to do with them. I hear they are decent, but not great.
