Westa may be hijacking this thread [it's true!], but I find his passion for this stuff admirable. He REALLY CARES! He is genuinely, personally insulted that Sharp would continue to sell the 65/57 at their original prices. While what he is doing IS a violation of the rules [ergo rude], avsforum is better off having guys like westa. Keep it up Westa --- just not in this thread :-D)
Actually, I too am disappointed with Sharp's performance in 2006. They have let their dominant position in the LCD market degrade. Just 1 year ago, they were the unquestioned top dog, and they have let Sony/Samsung steal their thunder to a significant degree...Wait, this isn't part of the current thread either...Sorry...
