Just your opinion. My personal experience with the set has been very positive. I also own Toshiba and Samsung flat panels and the Sony is superior. IMO.
How is my post irresponsible? Look at all the people posting about cloudy sets on this thread alone! Moreover, the customer service rep who arranged for my exchange acknowledged the cloud issue with this model line!
Is that evidence good enough for you?
And are you trying to imply that because you had a good experience with your set, that the entire line must be good? I hope not.
And to MrKiller and Thinman, the warranty exchange I mentioned isn't quite as appealing as I may have made it seem. I got the upgrade after two service appointments and several phone calls and emails with Sony. I was offered a free exchange for a refurbished V2500 or I could pay extra to go to a new unit. I paid $380 to upgrade to a W3000 and while I still sorta feel ripped off a little, the phenomonal picture quality is making it hard to get too worked up about it
In the end I'm gonna try to forget about the money spent and just enjoy my TV!
