Alright, after reading here awhile, I've narrowed my choices down to 3 TV's, all around the same final price after tax/warranty. I'll also put the pro's/con's I've gathered from other threads.
1) Panasonic TC-32LE60 from Costco
This is the same TV as the TC-32LX60, but has 14W/channel speakers vs. 20W/channel, and does not have Virtual Surround - this according to Panasonic's customer service.
Pro's: Costco return policy, price, PQ in SD, good blacks, QAM tuner
Con's: "Smoother" PQ in HD (not eye popping like other TV's - ie. Sony, Samsung, Sharp, ect.), 1 HDMI, 1 component
2) HP LC3200N from Comp USA
Pro's: Sharp pannel (from when Sharp hit it big with their LCD's), so great PQ like the older Sharp AQUOS, 2 component inputs, CableCard
Con's: Have to buy 2 year extended warrantly, 12ms response time, glare problem with screen coating, viewing angle (TFT instead is S-ISP panel), 1 HDMI, no QAM?
3) LG 32LC2D from CompUSA
Pro's: QAM tuner, 2 component inputs
Con's: some say PQ not on par with Sony, Sharp, Samsung
So which would you recommend, knowing that these will be approximately the same price after tax/warranty costs. Key money differences are the Costco return policy vs. a 2 year extended warranty, and CompUSA 2 year same as cash financing vs. having to charge the Costco purchase and pay for it all before the credit card interest kills me.
