Syntax Olevia LT32HVE - Couple Questions

Hello. I am looking at this TV from Target and had a few questions.

1. The specs say it is 39.8" wide. Does anybody know the width for the stand? My TV stand is only 36" wide and I was wondering if it was going to fit on it. The pictures look like the feet for the TV are in side that 39.8" width.

2. Does anybody have any opinions on this TV good or bad. This will be my first HDTV so I need a bit of help. My prices range is under $1000.

Can you check the TV out locally anywhere. They seem to be a popular model for the price.
I checked them out locally recently and was impressed.

The newer models have built in tuners for OTA HDTV if you want to go that route. I believe you can get the new 532H online for the same price as the model your looking at.

Thanks for the info. Does anybody have any information on DataVision as a vendor? I have seen a lot of mixed reviews but they have the newer 532H for the same prices as the LT32HVE at Target.

In that link someone bought one and didnt seem to have any issues. I read the mixed reviews but probably would still give them a shot.

Why buy an older model for the same price when you can buy the new one with all the new bells/whistles.
