1080p black bars on a Sharp 37D90U

Ok so I've made some progress in getting my tv setup, but I've still got some issues. My current problem is the display of 1020x1080 has the desktop shifted slightly to the right by about 1 1/2" and from up from the bottom by about 1/4".

I have a Geforce 6800xt card with a dvi connection to the tv.

I've tried overscan compensation in the nvidia control panel. I've also tried the Fine Sync adjustments on the tv. Fine sync shifts it but just makes the black bar show up on the other side :confused:

Any help would be appreciated...

Ok, so I figured it out :) In the advanced timing settings I set it to 59.939 refresh rate and bingo, all's good. Loving this tv!

hey, i was thinking of getting the same tv. few questions...

1: where did you brought it from

2: is this tv really 1080P native or just upscale like the previous 45" sharp?

3: does it produce good deep black color?

4: how do you hook up your pc on the tv without having to move your computer alongside with the tv since the dvi cable is like 5-6 feet long?
