However, according to the evaluation performed by Home Theater Magazine, the XBR2/3 fails the 2:3 cadence recognition test at 1080i, so it will not de-interlace 24fps native material correctly. This is the reason that I, for one, had high hopes for the Xbox 360 update.

Those failures were with drc on though, with it off I thought it passed everything. If that is also true I am going to throw the tv into the doorway of BestBuy and pull off











The XBR2/3 still produces a stunning picture.
