Torus screen on Ebay

Terry (Chuchuf) sets up G-90's with a Torus screen. I think his are around 106" wide. There are a few threads going in the CRT forum if you are still interested in Tori.

My main concern would be the lack of info on the screen material. As it is described in the listing, it could be just about anything. You should ask the seller for additional information and maybe to mail you some better pictures. If he is serious about selling big ticket items like screens, he should be willing to snap a couple extra pictures. If he is non-responsive, then that tells you something too.

It seems as though there is a resurgence in Torus screen again. I've looked briefly for a few threads I remember, but haven't found them in the archives yet. One was by Atom. Semsencient had his build thread, and I thought Terry had a thread (or contributed to one) that advised on size, depth and screen material.

Do I remeber correctly that the two favorite materials are vutec silverstar and Stewart's hard-to-find but soon-to-be-run hi gain material?
