Meat and Lank,
Thank you for the clairification (regarding the Harmony 880 Digital Input 2). I guess I'll have to wait until Harmony updates their database for a Digital 2 LCD button. Kinda silly that they offer the discrete code for use as an activity, but not as a direct access button.
As for activities... I use activities on my MX-800. In fact, that's the beauty of having a completely configurable remote. I can set aside as many buttons as I'd like for a given activity (or macro, as they are called on the MX-800) and position them where I want them. I currently have the standard "Turn on TV, set it to the right input, turn on DVD, turn on receiver, set it to DVD", macro, plus the same thing for my HTPC, cable box, etc. But I also have one that allows me to switch from the home theater PC to the DVD, dim the theater room lights, and then press play on the DVD. In other words, the macro (activity) creation is even more powerful and much easier to configure.
At any rate, sorry to go off topic. JVC 1080p set owners have wanted a discrete Digital Input 2 command for some time. I was hoping this had turned out to be the answer. Kinda silly that Harmony won't let you assign it as a discrete button.
