Hooking sound card to receiver

Ok, here's the question guys. I have a pc in one room of my house and my SDTV that I use to watch Divx/xvid files off of in the other room. Right now I'm using a divx compatible DVD player.however I'm sick of burning discs when my new tv series release episodes on air. I do have an S/video cable that I can wire into my tv from my geforce 6600 but at the moment no way to get sound out. I do have an Audigy 2 zs and was wondering how to connect my audigy 2 zs from my computer and wire it into my receiver, if that is at all possible. What cable or connectors would I need???

Do a search for SPDIF here.

Microsoft also has a good webpage with all of the connectors, config settings, etc.

For the budget-minded, you can just use regular coax + RCA adapters instead of getting an expensive set of cables.

Sadly the back of my HT looks a lot like the one in that picture.

But it all works at least!

That's a really nice guide, thanks for the link. It was a real pain in the ass back when I had to try and figure all that stuff out myself.
