Bookshelf Size Poll

I'm curious to see what size bookshelf speakers you all have? If you guys haven't purchased a bookshelf what size would be most appealing?

Also, what influenced your decision to purchase that size speaker? Feel free to post which bookshelf speaker(s) you own.

Thanks!

I got a 07 bookshelves (JBL), being 02 E-50's as L/R mains & 04 E-30's as surr./surr.backs (center is an EC-35 & sub is an SVS PB-10).

Cheers / Avliner.

Biguns and over 50#s each. Seas Odins with 1.25" cabinets.

I have a pair of Mirage OMNI 50's for rear surrounds in my 7.1 setup. Since they are doing surround duty they work just fine.

Large MT - 7" Dayton Reference driver in a .75ft^3 enclosure.

Just curious, why did you have all options as smaller than 6" or larger than 7" when most bookshelf speakers have 6.5" midranges?

Astute observation!

If you have a 6.5" woofer then go ahead and reply to the 7" version in the poll.

Sorry about that

Mine are Klipsch 6.5" MT (RB61.) I chose them because they have the greatest bass extension of any bookshelf I have seen for under $1000/pr.

Paradigm Reference Studio 20v.3's, love them. 7" midrange/bass driver and 1" aluminium dome tweeter. Most of you probably didn't need that info though. Many of you are very familiar with these as well.

Dynaudio 52SE. I put them in the 6-inch category, despite a 6.5ish inch woofer. The cabinet on these is fairly small. Tons of bass though.

I got Ascends with 6.5" midranges, which I voted as 6" or under. 5 foot 11 and 3/4 is not 6 feet after all (from the Everybody Loves Raymond episode)
