I felt that, in isolation, all the moves fit the music, but for reasons I can't explain, the dance as a whole looked like it was being danced to a different song. Very strange.
I also felt Kendra got shortchanged by the judges this week. IMHO, a case can be made that Kendra's samba was better than Kristie's but she got scored lower.
Agree about Chris being disappointing. I actually thought he might have been the best standard dancer in the group (although Hines turned out to be very good at that as well, I am not
a fan of Romeo's foxtrot, waltz, etc.). Frankly, I think Chris got screwed; I can't recall another actual tango this season (I may be wrong, though) and it's a tough dance. Regardless, I actually gained a lot of respect for Jericho; he seemed to be intelligent and was always articulate and gracious, which is a heck of a lot more important than being a good dancer.
Chris' ouster may also have been due in part to Karina's fall garnering a lot of sympathy votes for she and Ralph. Of course, that's aside from the fact that lately Karina's become popular all by herself.
I also agree about Kendra; but in DWTS it's never
about just the dancing..it's about the celebrity's personality and how many calls they generate.
