. At least that's what my plan is. How do you think the p363s are and what are you using as the centers? I am going with the infinities for the first time, had the polk tsi 500s and monitors but was not happy with them. The soundstage and highs are must better with the infinity.
I have the 351 center. your plan is a solid one. If you have a Fry's around, they have all the bookshelves and 363 tower on sale.
i enjoy my 363s, they give nice sound for the price ($234/pair). there are many reviews
that say it better than i can, for sure. that is just one that i've linked, but it's fair and true. they aren't world beaters, but i doubt you'll find much better overall sound from something under $250.
I now have a SVS SB12-NSD sub that is amazing, and these 363s play very nice with it, crossed over at 80Hz. i'm sure highs could be better, but until i can buy Wharfdale Diamonds, these Infinitys will do nicely. after 10pm, I go to Direct mode for music (sub off) and the 363s still provide a little kick, just not room shaking
My setup is mostly used for music, so if you have a specific genre, I might be able to offer a couple of great sounding tracks for you to hear.
