Oh I was doing down arrow, like on my 8300. I tried up arrow too, but only a couple times. Next time I'll try up from the remote.
Yeah I think I saw one of those pages with crazy huge number in bytes, but it didn't look familiar to me, like it seemed like cache data or something, not total HD size. I took pics, I just haven't gotten them off my cam yet.
I am pretty sure it is a 500 GB drive in there though. Sometime I'll get those pics on my PC and post 'em up. I am going to try to get another one, because I can live with 500GB, even though my 1.15TB HD on my 8300 is perpetually 60+ % full, I usually have about 10 long HD movies on there that aren't completely necessary. My 8300HD non C is still screwed up as far as guide goes, it never loads right away like it used to and there are always huge delays at times and searching (B) never works because the guide is always half loaded, half not, etc.. Just basically crap, and they don't seem to be in any hurry to fix it.
I tried hooking up external HD to the Samsung and it didn't work, just as I though. Too bad they broke that feature long ago. It would solve so many problems if it just worked. Oh well.
There's always Tivo if I get desperate, or Direct TV.
