But this show is fascinating and great fun.
In real-life, even if the sketch was an exact likeness of Dexter, they would have chalked it up to Dexter being at the crime scene, and the police station when the kid was present (whether the kid actually saw him, or not)
The self induced parinoia Dexter went through was great. He had never felt any doubt, or fear, before that moment. Every episode they move him farther and farther away from an emotionless zombie. I haven't read the books, but maybe this points to a traumatic event in his life shaping his personality, and he is slowly breaking free from it.
Sorry for the rambling, but the show does make you think, which is a good thing!
