Hi. Going through a rollercoaster emotionally (girl stuff... 'nuff said) and busy as f*** at work racking the overtime and to forget, well you know. frown.gif Barely have time to keep "HOTP" updated. Haven't seen any new "Dexter" so far this year, waiting until I'm emotionally clear to enjoy the show, which I don't want to diminish by watching with "something else" on my mind. Timing sucked this year (by Fall I would have forgotten... "it") that "Dexter" came in the summer, but that's what SHO on Demand is for. Thanks for thinking of little ol' me though. smile.gif I just love "Dexter" too much to watch it with anything other than my 100% undivided attention, which I can't give it right now because, well, you know. rolleyes.gif

Dad I'm sure everything will work out for you. It is a little off that Dexter didn't start at the end of Sept. Bitter sweet, I guess smile.gif

Interesting how well Deb fits with some of these.

Top Ten Reasons Why American Women Suck...

WTF did she do eek.gif LOL
Oh Deb. She seemed off to a better start. Going on the wagon made it look like her mind was clearer but then she pulled that out of nowhere. She even went back for Dex! confused.gif
Wonder why the guy who was fishing only saved her. Maybe he thought she (given she's a women) was in danger from the driver.

Congrats to Muska. His daughter even shared the same laugh! That was hilarious, then they started laughing together.

Quinn, haha. Caring enough about Deb to start a fist fight in front of his beautiful girlfriend. Hot sex scene though:D

This is a really dumb question, but do people in the Pacific time zone get to view the Eastern feeds of Showtime, HBO, etc.? Specifically, on DirecTV. It would be strange to see new episodes of prime time stuff three hours early relative to the usual local air time. Dexter at 6:00 pm?
Yep, we get the exact same channels you do on DirecTV for the premium channels. Ch 545 is Showtime East, 546 Showtime West.

Its not strange, its preferred. We don't have stay up as late to watch Dexter, Homeland, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, etc.

So yes I can watch Dexter at 6pm and Ray Donovan at 7:00 which I think is awesome. AMC, FX, etc is the same way. The only differences are the local channels and network channels on DirecTV. CBS, ABC, FOX and NBC prime time shows come on between 8-10pm locally just as they would on the east coast.

What is going on is Deb is fighting for her sanity...and her very soul.
Ever since she found out her brother was a serial killer, she has been on the edge of the abyss.

She has to have a part to play in this End Game or they wouldn't have brought her in.wink.gif

I thought this was the best show of this last season. I still have a big gripe though. Dexter lures what'shisname to the nursing home and steps out announcing himself to the serial killer. Typical crap in this show where the plot drives the action. I don't recall Dexter ever not pouncing on a victim rather than gloating before he uses the needle. He would gloat only after they were on his table.

I haven't liked the Deb stuff that much other than this show. I don't really like the car deal and, from the previews, it seems (once again) to have a plot purpose of allowing Dexter to move away from her.

Good point.

Totally shocking....I didn't see it coming.eek.gif

How soon before the brain surgeon snags Deb? I see it coming.

I think he'll grab Masuka's daughter she looked like the last victim he nabbed, curly hair and everything

I hope Dexter stops him on time, I don't want them to kill Masuka's daughter please..

Good theory!

There was a lot of foreshadowing with Deb that she was up to something. Her scene with Quinn was one example. I thought she was going to shoot herself in the car.

Yep my wife said is she going to kill herself and then Dex came out and I was said what if she just shoots him and the scenes from the next says next on the series Premier of Quinn.

Having accidentally seen the teaser where an unfamiliar car careens off the road into water, I figured something was up with Dexter already using a random police motorpool car instead of his own Ford SUV (Jaime had that), and he & Deb "going for a drive."

Also very sloppy of Dexter to not pounce on Yates in the nursing home room. Instead he verbally confronts him first? Hold still while I stick this needle in your neck! Oh snap, you unplugged the ventilator and made the nurses sprint to the room. And what would he have done with Yates had he successfully sedated him? Set up a kill room in a fully operational nursing home? rolleyes.gif No worse than doing so in some baggage area at the Miami airport last season.

This show doesn't have the budget to "waste" Dexter's Escape, hence the 12 year old motor pool Malibu. Also we now know that Jaime and Dexter's son are running around in an SUV that Yates knows belongs to Dexter.

I agree but did they actually show Yates ever see his car?

Am I the onky one suddenly wondering about Harry's death? There is something very sinister about Vogel. One can only wonder about her reaction when Harry wanted to end the "experiment".

Interesting thought.

No, you're not.
I have been VERY suspicious of her from the start.

What if she was the one that OD'd Harry? this could be huge since Deb is blaming Dexter, perhaps Vogel killed him after the suicidal thoughts interview.

Maybe one of his security cameras caught it, since Dexter practically parks in the driveway of every home he breaks into.

Meanwhile this guy may not be the brain dude after all, he's into feet. I didn't see that coming with Debra at all. Vogel has something else going on what I haven't got a clue.
Masuka's daughter was funny.

That dude is not the brain surgeon. He's just another kill along the way. He's into shoes and breaking toes. The fact that his head was opened up is just another Dexter red herring.

How are you possibly going to avoid spoilers this season? All these Dexter articles you post will probably be chock full of spoilers once the final episode airs.
