I once was a huge Dexter fan. Never did like Deb, or LaGuerta (SP?). I decided I wanted to watch the last few episodes.

I just want to ask: Who the **** is plotting this crap???
Maybe this was covered previously, but:
  • Dexter believes that this brilliant shrink has a long lost son?
  • Dexter can't drive Hannah OUT OF TOWN?
  • Dexter thinks it's a good idea to have Hannah live with his SISTER?
  • Now he must kill the long lost son before he can run off with Sarah?
Now, I understand that psychos do get more unbalanced as time passes, but REALLY?? When did Dex get the drain bamage?

I agree but perfect she ain't and that 's a good thing. She also showed a lot more skin in those SoBe? drink ads that she did a couple of years back where they painted stuff on her naked bod. She looked good in those too.

Yes she does, all women have blemishes that's why they wear makeup. A few of us men have them too. If you find a woman with no blemishes she's either made of marble or a product of air brushing.

"All women have blemishes". That's a pretty bold statement isn't it? I have realized some women are able take care of their skin better. I still think Yvonne is very pretty but just not a natural beauty. Maybe it's because I'm living in So Cal? biggrin.gif

Actress who played Dexter's wife was a beauty in her day.

Guess he has a thing for blonds.

Remember when Deb had romantic feelings for Dexter before finding him in the act of plunging a knife into a body?

Writers dropped that idea real quick.

^^^ In her day .. ?? Her day is still on I think ..

No one can deny she has a terrific body.wink.gif

The SC eye-candy aside, you have my pity.
I wouldn't live there again for all the bikinis on Huntington Beach...tongue.gif

They should have just let her wear her real body.

I guess there was some thread discussion/dissection on IMDB about this. Screen caps were provided which supposedly made it evident that they (her breasts) were edited out later. Or something like that.

It doesn't really matter...it isn't like any of us will ever have the opportunity to validate it in the real world.

I am currently looking at properties in Texas. I have family and friends there, plus the added benefit of being retired. I understand the "pity" reference. I was born and raised here. Very expensive to live here now. Did you see the riot in HB after the annual surfing event? They added concert and stunts to the normally surfing only event!

Your compass should be pointed North, not East.

The PNW is God's Country...
Clean, not crowded, little crime by comparison, no sales tax, tons of outdoor activities/sports for every age, nature's gift to the soul.
Come up and look around.

Texas?
Hot, dusty, crowded, polluted, dumba$$ hicks, psycho politicians, the laughingstock of the nation ---- the name of the state has become a punchline for jokes.

Before the age of 22, I spent half of my years there.

Remember that grade school story about the three blind men describing an elephant? Thats Texas.

"Dallas is a rich man with a death wish in his eyes" . Thats Texas. You can't understand the soul of America if you don't get Texas. Its everything good, and bad, about this country.
Just the opinion of this midwest boy. Thats right I'm not from Texas. (To paraphase Lyle Lovett. The Dallas quote is from Jimmy Dale Gilmore. Both Texan smile.gif)

Every so often some native numbskull whips up his contemporaries in The Lone Star state to succeed from the Union....while the rest of the nation screams "PLEEEEEZE!!!"biggrin.gif

I live on SoCal too. Saying that some women take better care of their skin than others is obvious but I still say no one is perfect.

Although I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, I agree that there is a lot to be said in favor of Texas, not the least important being no state income tax. On another issue, and not to put too fine a point on it, to generalize about Texas, or any other state for that matter, by focusing on the sort of extremist wing nuts and ignoramuses who can be found anywhere, is as arrogant as it is ill informed. It's like when the hue and cry went up that the culture of the city of Dallas was responsible for the JFK assassination. Then it came out that the deed had been done by a deranged communist. Oops. It is not a bad idea, either, to recall that Texas is the second most populous state in the union and the largest geographically in the continental US. Anyway, don't mess with Baja Oklahoma. smile.gif

Back to beautiful women and this thread for a moment, this time in the context of Oklahoma and Texas, all anyone has to do to see lots of beautiful young women is visit the OU campus in Norman or the UT campus in Austin. It's unbelievable! Trust me on this. Based on all the pulchritude I have observed, I contend that some blemishes not withstanding our Hannah (Yvonne Strahovski) is indeed a beauty.

If you wish to discuss my "ignorance" about TX, I suggest we do so in PMs.smile.gif

Link to a national news source, please.

Despite my defense of Texas in an earlier post, I agree that its secession crazies are certifiable. Their ancestors done fought that war once and lost it. smile.gif

I have a crazy sister in Texas, but I stopped blaming the state long ago.
I'd guess there's a fine place to exist in every state, but I can't prove it wink.gif

Just for the record it was posted earlier by Oink about looking north. I started looking there back in 2007, specifically Oregon. The problem happening now is the California residents are moving up there slowly. Washington state is beautiful also. I never knew mentioning Texas and possibly moving there could ignite such feelings among us? tongue.gif

I'm looking for my retirement dollar to stretch the farthest and that cannot happen living in California!

True, and some here believe NOT so "slowly." wink.gif

Hey, they started it with their succession talk.
We take traitors to the Union very seriously up here.

Always on the lookout for quality transplants...come North, young man.wink.gif

I don't understand what any of this last page was about (other than the pictures of of Yvonne).

Every single state in this Union has something negative going for it. All 50 of them. You'll be hard pressed to find a single state that no one can't say anything bad against. I don't care if it's California, Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington... or the other 45. No one lives in the "perfect" US state. I should know, I've lived in 8 of them, and been to nearly all of them.

Texas has the best damn live music in the country. And the best barbeque. With that going for it I can overlook a multitude of sins.smile.gif

Okay, I'm done now. Back to Dex...

Take it from a big, big man, who has eaten BBQ throughout this great country, Texas BBQ has a reputation that exceeds its taste. Tennessee, Kansas, and both Carolinas amongst others surpass Texas BBQ with ease.

BBQ AIN'T BEEF!!!!!

You are right on the music claim, though. Bob Wills is STILL the king.
