Morena is the most beautiful woman in the world, imo. "Audrey Hepburn...with boobs" is how Craig Ferguson described her. That pretty much sums it up.

Actually for some it's the best time to be married, having a wife that's pregnant. They lose their inhibitions due to the hormonal change. biggrin.gif

But wait all of your Morena fantasies can now suddenly be fulfilled, but only in this "knocked up condition"! That's the trade off unfortunately as we know it. It's never when we want them to, take it or leave it Oink? biggrin.gif

How did the Marshall not know he was a suspect? Seems silly to me.

An OK episode, seemed like filler material. Series finale next week!
Yes I thought the first half hour was filler but then the last twenty minutes happened. So much great stuff, another Debism " well that seems new coming from you" to the Dex- Deb tag teaming of Saxon to Harry's " well you don't need me anymore"...thats James Remore's last scene..ever..oh yeah and "well maybe this isn't the boat for you"...good stuff.

Man, just so disappointing that the finale is gonna be the only episode in the final season that has any real game changing events (I hope!). This whole season has had no feeling of finality at all; it's just been business as usual for the most part. This is why I have started watching this show before Breaking Bad. It seems much less disappointing that way.

Agreed, especially with BB airing their best episode of the series this evening. Wow!

Dexter was okay tonight, but once the writers decided to begin giving him real emotions...well, the series hasn't been the same. I am very disappointed with what used to be my favorite show (has since been replaced by BB). Only one episode remains, and so much left unresolved.

Well we got our CBS/ Showtime about two weeks back. Up to date. I will have to go over some of the threads on Dexter. What do I think about the Season, I don't really know I'm on the fence. One thing is for sure it's coming to an end.

I actually think that the AVClub has been nailing Dexter on its crap even moreso. Unmentioned is the Federal Marshall who (typical of Dexter) just exists to do stupid things and advance stupid story lines. And Hannah can't put a hat on, dye her hair or put it in a bun?

I want Walt and Lydia to meet Dexter and Hannah in Argentina, where they all live happily ever after, making fine-quality meth and killing people who deserve to be killed.

What can I say? I'm an incurable romantic, who loves happy endings.

Yep - read that one too.

If the attention of the members discussion is on an unrelated actress or some network
TV show, you know it's rock bottom.

It seems really lame I know but they had just put his face on TV moments before and because he is a federal marshall he probably wouldn't be notified that Metro was after a local killer. Agree with daryl he just existed to do stupid things.

All of this bitching seems to correlate with "the forest for the trees."
Oh well, just one more episode....

Almost out of the forest, err, trees, err, forest.

Well, adios Deputy Marshall Whatzyername. What a bonehead. At least Deb got shot in the non-fatal side abdominal area which, like the non-fatal shoulder area, is where TV & movie protagonists get shot when they need to be shot but not shot fatally.

Really looking forward to how fast-paced the one-hour finale is going to have to be to:

1) Allow Dexter to kill Saxon, hopefully wrapped in plastic on a slab.
2) Resolve Deb's storyline and show her and Quinn professing their forbidden love. Or, she could die in his arms, mooning about her forbidden love with her brother. Oh frak!
3) Resolve Masuka's odd filler storyline with his hot daughter. Or not.
4) Resolve Dexter's (and Hanna's) fate - death or incarceration? I think we can safely assume he, Hanna, & Harrison are not riding off into an Argentine sunset. And somebody has to die heroically, don't they?
^^^ At this point I don't really care. Just end it!!
^ That's kind of where I'm at now. From start through season 4 I was telling people it's one of the best shows ever, but now...

Does anyone get the feeling they'll leave it open in the event they want to make a movie or something? Nothing has happened in season 8 that would hint at it being the final one. I'm so weirded out by this season, and it might have ruined Dexter for me (okay, and season 6 too)...

The view from AVS's pigpen:
1) Deb dies from her wounds
2) Hannah is killed
3) Harrison is kidnapped
4) Dex exacts revenge on Saxon
5) Angel arrests Dex
6) Dex gets the chair

Does Florida still have the electric chair? If I were Dex and had a choice, I'd pick firing squad. With a cigarette and blindfold. You know he'd have that option in Texas. tongue.gif

Found out from 'The Killing' that the state of Washington still offers hanging as an "option". eek.gif

Can't see 'em takin' him alive though. That leaves "heroic death", perhaps saving Harrison or The World's Greatest Babysitter from Saxon. I'd like to see Angel, Matthews, and Masuka find out about him at the end, just to see their expressions. And Deb has to answer for LaGuerta's death doesn't she? Deathbed confession?

Lots to cram into one hour!
Can Dexter choose the slab? meaning lethal injection instead of the chair? is the chair a cheaper option in Florida or what?
Okay, a quick Google search yields the following info:

The electric chair is still permitted in Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma and Kentucky.
Hanging is only permitted in the state of Washington.
Gas chamber only in California, Missouri, & Arizona.
Lethal injection is permitted in all states still officially offing their citizens.

Doesn't look like a firing squad is permitted anywhere anymore. Not even in Texas. Don't know about the military.

Count on TX to get it wrong....rolleyes.gif

Traditionally, the Firing Squad was reserved for those of a political background (soldiers, royalty, etc).
It was considered a more dignified death.

Hanging was for common criminals, which is why it was not popular among condemned royalty, soldiers, etc.wink.gif
As to the chair, it was initially conceived as a more "humane" method for getting rid of criminals.

The pigpen is hoping the last few frames of this series is Dex, strapped in the chair, staring in to the camera.cool.gif

Not bad, but we swine have a tougher ending to a tough series.wink.gif

Old Sparky kept setting the condemned on fire, so they began to use lethal injections. It is still is available if requested, but none have since 1999.
