Flans Theater/Pub

Well after a year or so of construction, Flan's Theater is about done! I wish I had some before pics to show but I didnt have a camera back then. I hope you enjoy it.

The rooms are in my basement and take up about 3/4 of my 1500sf basement. The walls in the theater are a dark Eggplant Purple with Black carpet, trim and ceiling. In the bar the paint is called Griffin with oatmeal trim and Autumn Cherry Laminate floor.

My rack consists of:

• Onkyo 606 Receiver
• Sony VHS Player
• Oppo DVD Player
• Component switcher
• Xbox 360
• Ps2

Other equipment:

• HTPC with BluRay/HD-DVD Combo Drive
• 12" Velodyne Subwoofer
• 15" Velodyne Subwoofer
• Atlantic Technology 350THX Speakers all around (include 7.1 surround for the back)
• Epson 3010 3D 1080p Projector
• 130" Do-it-yourself Behr Silverscreen
• Gyration Media Center Remote
• Converted arcade cabinet into a MAME arcade machine with MP3 playback

I need to draw up a floorplan so you can make sense of the pics. I have some more decorating I need to do and the bathroom to finish. Let me know what you guys think. The movie props (Fett and Stormtrooper) were made From Gelcoat and Fiberglass on PVC mannequins. These took over a year and a half to finish.

Thanks! It's funny because that Pepsi machine cost me $25.00 and it work perfectly. The problem is that its a behemoth and stuck out like a sore thumb. So my wife suggested building it into the wall and there she be. It is from the early eighties I think and will accept cans and Bottles. Frosty bottles of beer in less than an hour!

Plus it was cheaper than a mini fridge.

Has anyone used that faux tin ceiling material? I would like to use it on the ceiling in the bar because it looks pretty inexpensive. Has anyone had any experience with it?

Hey Bud,
Is that the panels that are about 2' x 4'? Are they tin or the platic type? If so do you have a vendor for those? I'd like to get a sample and paint them. I saw in another thread a guy had some and painted them black, look very nice!

I know! I plan on painting it red and getting new graphics to convert the machine to a coke machine.....you'll notice that only coke products are in it tho And beer

Do you have a good source for bottled soda? I'd like to get the big ol' 18 or 20oz bottles we used to drink when I was a kid. I cant get it locally
