VERY nice! Love everything you've done! It's great to see stuff of this caliber that's local.

Do you know about this thread? I'm hosting a local meet this Saturday if you're free.

Also, what did you do for baseboards in your HT? I've got the same colors - dark eggplant walls and black carpet. It looks like you have the commercial-style vinyl down, is that right? I've got a curved front to my HT and wanted to do the same thing, but my wife is going for the veto on it...

Actually bothe Boba and the Stormtrooper are Gelcoat and fiberglass. The gelcoat is white on the stormtrooper so no need to paint it. It's a lot thicker than Vacformed pieces thus heavier, but I dont wear them.

Sorry I missed your post about the get-together, Ive been super busy lately and havent checkrd this thread. The Black is real wood baseboard with a small quarter-round molding at the very bottom. We had a hard time picking out a color for the baseboard. But the black turned out nice because it's a semigloss.

I researched at thedentedhelmet.com and went to town building it from scratch. The armor and helmets are fiberglass. I was fortunate enough to have a buddy nearby that had molds of most parts.

Haven't seen this one yet. Looks nice! I have movie posters in my room as well and the glare can distract. I ended up taking the cheapo route and put some cheap curtain rods and black curtains on the side and I can pull them over. Makes the room really dark this way.

Hey that new R2D2 projector coming out would work great in this room!

No, the glare doesn't even show up from a seated position. But it did show up in the pics.

Hi,

This may not help you but hopefully others that will read this thread.

I have installed few different faux tin ceiling tiles in the past and have also sold a ton of them to people that are working on their theater rooms etc. They are made out of PVC. I have also used installed Styrofoam ones.
