Best Deal for Pioneer 5070?

Continental airlines One pass reward program offers the 5070 for total $2809 shipped, and is item 03-1267. The 6070 for $4258 total shipped. it is item # 03-1268.

not a normal etailer, yes, you have to join for free and maybe buy some magazines to get the 100 points to use with the purchase and yes, they are authorized dealers. BUT as said not normal etailer and you may have to wait 2-4 weeks to get your item.
many many people in the hd dvd forum bought the Toshiba HD A1 from them for $363 shipped, that is where alot of people heard of them. They also carry other dlp plasma lcd from panasonic samsung toshiba pioneer. And they carry denon receivers the 3806 the 4306 and the 4806.

I can't find anything on the miles for merchandise website that shows that the model noted is indeed the 5070. How do you know for sure?

Considering their lack of a decent return policy, that seems like a bit too much risk for me, unless I am just missing something.

call or email them if you dont believe me. i bought 2 toshiba hd dvd from them. i also emailed daniela and asked for the exact model numbers of 10 different audio/video items with the pioneer plasmas being two of them then listed it for you. but daneila will confirm for you if needed. . call pioneer they will tell you also that brainstorm/rymax who run the reward system for continental is a legitimate authorized pioneer reseller as they are for ALL items they sell through the program.

Has anyone ordered a plasma from the one pass program? The site says a 6-8 lead time for items requiring "velvet glove service", which I assume includes plasma TVs. I'm wondering what the real world delivery time is. They have a nice price now, but that may not be the case in 2 months when the set arrives.

Plasma Concepts has 5070 for $2695 after 100 AVS discount from link on this site. Authorized dealer. I haven't done business with them.
