They might get a few hundred bucks if someone knows the limitations of that unit, or maybe $300-$400 if someone is just buying the Pioneer name and doesn't realize the monitor's limitations. It was a great display back in 2005, but a current $600-$800 Panasonic will outperform it on every level. And the 505CMX doesn't have an HDMI input so it's restricted to old-school analog inputs only.
My friend just bought a 60" Panny ST30 to replace his beloved 504CMX. We set it up a few days ago and the ST30 kills that 504 in every picture quality category. He was astounded with the improvement in picture quality, detail, and naturalness of the image. He bought the new TV primarily because he was unable to watch streaming HD on the 504CMX since it doesn't have HDMI and is not HDCP compliant - and the TV won't display the video.
