Neat, I like it and its versatility.

Unfortunately too short for the Pearl:

A little ingenuity will fix that.
You could always buy the Chief extension mount which would need to be coupled to the peerless tubing with the new Vogel mount on the end. Anything is possible

Very nice indeed. The picture shows Panny AX100U mounted. Let me shoot a PM to Robert - Value Electronics is listed as official dealer of Vogel for my zip code.

So Alan, when is AVS going to carry this ingenious little product?

That is a killer mount. It has me thinking of buying a projector I can mount on the opposite wall.

The column system is cool, too, as one can hide the wires on the wall instead of running them through the wall.

I would love to make that work for my Pearl.

Alan
Does this mean this also works for RS-1?

I found a spec on their website that said 10kg max. (22 pounds). RS-1 is 25.6 pounds, per Greg's review.

That is enough for me to say no...

Best Regards,
Doug

Well, I may give it a try. 11.6kg vs 10

No need la. My friend failed to use Vogel for a proper VS50 installation. The plastic ball joint just too week for the 10kg weight

The specs on the mount say it can accomodate projectors up to 23.58 inches deep. The Pearl is only 18 5/8th inches in depth. It should fit. Given the fact that its 24 lbs though, the mount cant handle the weight.

It will however apparently handle both the new Epson Cinema 1080, and the Mits 5000 easily though, one or the other of which I expect to end up with. I REALLY like this mount!

Today I went to the dealer selling Vogel accessories. After a long discussion, I may risk myself of having this wall mount for my HD-1/RS-1. The reson: the mount is good looking and the specified death is enough for the weight. As my neighbor's previous failure using Vogel's ceiling mount with Pearl was because he tried to tilt the mount a lot and that greatly exceeded the stated 10kg max weight. JVD does not allow any tilting at all. There is no such thing as keystoning so weight should not be a problem

Did you end up using the Vogels Wall Mount. Im interested in using that for my JVC. If so any problems with it and would you recommend it to me.

Cheers
