I worked for Best Buy for a very short time this year (thankfully, I'm not there anymore; I'm a poor college student but I couldn't stand that place) and I remember seeing only 1 42w2 in the store - and that was to show off the new HD-DVD players they received.

not like the price bubble bursting 1080p Westinghouse monitors to be alongside their other brands, because as soon as the first 1080p Samsungs started appearing, I never saw another 1080p Westinghouse again...
I suppose they would just have you believe that it always costs more than $2500 to get a 1080p display...so needless to say I'm not surprised that they wanted a 720p model rather than a 1080p one.
Oh, I recommend avoiding Best Buy whenever you can
