Hi everyone. I'm new to the AVS Forum, and I have to say that it's a little intimidating to ask for recommendations from you all when I'm such a novice when it comes to flat panels. Hopefully you can help me out, though.

I will be buying a new TV within the next week or two. After doing a lot of research, I think 32" LCD displays are what I'd like to focus on. Price isn't necessarilly a factor, although I would, of course, like to get the best deal possible. What matters more to me is the overall quality of the display.

-I don't do much, if any, gaming. I may pick up a next generation system in the future, but it won't be played much.
-An even amount of time is divided between television and movies.
-I don't have a stereo system, so good speakers are a plus.
-I don't have an excessive need for lots of imputs.

My research has also led me to two or three models that I'm considering. Please let me know if you disagree or agree with my choices:

-Westinghouse LTV-32w6 --- Based on a lot of what I've read on this forum, this seems to be a popular choice. It's also very reasonably priced.

-Panasonic TC-32LX60 --- I went to Best Buy yesterday and spent a half hour looking at every 32" LCD they had. I was really impressed with this one above all the rest. A football game was on, and the score-box at the top of the screen had the least amount of blur/pixelation on this set than on any others. I really appreciated that. From what I've read, though, people on this forum aren't impressed with the lack of imputs and the poor remote.

-Sony Bravia KLV32U100M --- Again, this is based on a lot of what I've read on this forum. I didn't notice much of an advantage with this set when I saw it in person yesterday, but then again, I'm not as keen to knowing the differences as most of you guys and gals are.

I should also point out that I'm debating whether or not to take advantage of Black Friday's pricing breaks, or, to save myself the 12-hour wait in the rain and use my brother's employee discount at Circuit City. I think he said that on some online offers, he can get 30-40% off.

When it comes to technical things, like aspect ratio and footprints... I honestly don't even know what those words mean. I'll be researching their definitions tonight, though. But if any of you have any insight you could offer me this week before I make my decision, that's be awesome. :)

Thanks.
