I had no choice it wouldn't fit vertically on the middle shelf. If I lay it flat then my Wii would have no room, and I can't put the 360 on top cuz the power cord isn't long enough. I had to rearrange my entire rack to accomodate the PS3!

I think you missed the little joke he was trying to make.

Got a new lens for the camera, which means I take even more pics of the HT now that it is "complete" with all 3 gaming systems!

Before someone mentions it, I know the air circulation isn't ideal for the consoles, but the stand is pretty, it fits in with our furniture and helps with the WAF.

DaverJ -

How do you have that center speaker on top of the flatscreen? I've been trying to figureout how to get my large center channel above my LCD for months.

Chris

It's an Omnimount stand I got from Circuit City for about $30. This TV has some depth in the back, which works pretty well for the rear legs of this stand... I don't think if it would work on a completely flat panel.

Ah.... I thought you had a flatscreen. I wish some company would come up with a solution to fix the problem of a center speaker over a flatscreen. Either way, thanks for the pic....nice set up.

DaverJ,

How heavy is your center channel, I try to do the same think but the sales say my center channel is too heavy. I have the Revel C12 and is 32lb.

Thanks

Ahhh! So many HOT components inside that stand.

Cable Box, receiver, PS3, etc.

The heat's gonna kill 'em!

Just a note, the exhaust heat of the PS3 is on the right side. You might want to switch sides for the 360 & PS3.

No, the shots look fine. One question, how do you like the insignia speakers? I had a pair but they just didn't do it for me. I ended up getting a set of BP7006's from Definitive Technologies to compliment my system.

Heat? As custom as this rack is I am more than sure that the rear of the unit has either cooling fans, or at least wide open space.....

My modest bedroom setup; as always a work in progress, not to mention it's my bedroom. Better wire concealment and a rack under the TV instead of to the side.... and cover those funky looking doors.

If your going to go to all that expense in buying the rack and custom fitting it into your home etc, why not just buy a standalone, that PS3 looks kinda silly in the rack like that. just my opinion though
