Greetings,

Yep, similar style, same graphics/ icons. But theres no peoples in there. Whew, glad I did see a BB with screen names like KBK, HTnut, Dennis, Ted, Johhny Carwaswh, eaadams.

Copycat laws of 1997, clearly states we have the right to make a "Razzberry" when opening and closing the website.

I'll bet it was done by the same website designer employed by AVS.

Nope...I did not do that site. They are using Microsoft FrontPage and they are using the same "Theme" that I had also bought a long time ago. It is more or less a template for the site. THank you for for pointing it out.

Well...Maybe it is time to be different again. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

David, In the words of Billy Joel "Don't go changing to try to please me". In other words I like the AVS site just the way it is. It is a great site colors and all.

Yes David,

I was just thinking a couple of days ago "thank god David and Alan aren't changing the interface of the AVS forum site - especially the color scheme".

I didn't care for it at all the first time I logged in, but now it is as indissociable from the good times here as Rosebud was to Citizen Kane.

Thanks for making and preserving the best website this side of the yellow brick road.

I am now an ADVANCED MEMBER! Where's my Virtual Secret Passcode Ring that allows me access to the Secret Virtual Keg Party?

I get to go there and get spun off on useless tangents.... instead of doing that here. This is my reward for so many useless irrelevant comments. I want my Keg!

And why is it that one only notices their spelling errors AFTER the message has been posted?

I'm just trying to get past my "new member" designation. I think I'm about one post away.!!

KBK: The REAL event of Cedia is the passcode keg party. You were still a lessor member at the time of the secret posts telling time, booth number, whisky options, and other vital secret things.

The Cedia web cam had a "beacon link" (secret homing signal) for late arrivals to follow. You made several of us very late when you swatted the camera. (BTW, I have a very nice print screen of you digging for the nostrol gold. Clearly not "Grey Matter".)

Thus you may be excluded again next year unless you redeem yourself with many worthwhile, extremely articulate, correctly spelled, posts to fellow members.

Too bad I was required to encrypt this post so you cannot make head nor tails of it. jdb

But JBD, I had to decrypt it just to be fair to all. After all, we do not want people thinking we are really a secret society or something. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
