Ok I just got a Wii on Sunday and I was messing around with it yesterday. I turned on Traveling and it said something about seeing other Mii's and them seeing you. So this is only if two people exchange numbers we see each other? And then we can message back and forth? I still don't understand it all and this thread started in 2006 so I don't have time to read it all but I read the beginning telling me what to do. I have a router so am online with the Wii. I don't need that USB adapter too do I? How many people can you have in your address book? I did make a Mii last night. Can we play games against each other? Does it tell you when someone in your address book is online?

Hi Rose,

If you are connected to a wireless router that is all you need. To get mii's in your parade you need to register Wii consoles in your address book, and they need to register you. The address book holds 100 names. The trick is to have a two-way connection with other Wii owners. Since most Wii owners have several mii's set to travel and mingle, the parade will gradually build up its mii population. I have over 30 now.

Hey thanks I added a girl from works numbers and she added me. Her Wii dropped in my plaza and i had it set to traveling. I don't think it was on mingeling but now it is but when we go to parade noone is there and she sent me like 3 Mii's from her house and i have my one. So like when I play bowling will I see her Mii's there? But you can't play games against each other can you like us bowling against each other from her house to mine since I have her Mii?? So she is in my address book by her numbers what is the difference by putting in e-mail? Do people have there own Wii e-mail? Or can I e-mail her Wii from a regular computers e-mail or only send messages from the Wii? Sorry for so many questions! I actually am trying to read some of my book now. Thanks, Rose

Sending a mii from the Plaza (Wii friend) will go to the other persons Plaza. Mii's will go to the parade on their own from other peoples consoles (if you registered each other, and mii's are set to mingle).

Furthermore if you get a mii in your Parade, then someone Wii Friends you that same mii to your plaza, it will pull it from your parade and there is nothing you can do to get it back in your parade except delete it from your plaza and in a few weeks it will come back to the parade. You cannot have the same mii in both the Plaza and the Parade at the same time. You can move mii's from Parade to Plaza, but not back to the Parade.

There are games that let you play online with other players, but Wii Sports is not one of them.

Yes, the wii has it's own email address, I've emailed between my computer and the wii and it works fine once the connection is established. The wii must make first contact and basically invite the other email address as a contact.

I am still learning but the girl I work with set 3 Mii's to mingle that she hadn't sent tome and I see them all in my parade. I made 2 Mii's that I didn't send to her and she still hasn't seen them in her parade and it was a few days ago. There set to Mingle and my traveling is on. We just don't know how they are traveling Plane, Walking, Bus LOL!! But she has never seen mine but her third one showed up for me today. It's fun though!! She sent me a Paul, Simon and Randy Mii today there cute..

The only way for mii's to get to your parade is from other consoles you established a connection with that have mii's set to mingle. If you send a mii directly it will go to their plaza and not their parade.

The crown means it is tagged as a favorite. Typically favorites would be the ones you use as your identity for playing games, but all it really does is give you another way to sort the mii's in the plaza.
