Other than the way Olivia made eyes at benson this past week, has she ever shown interest in him? I hadn't seen she ever did, other than professionally.

Nice going on making the official thread for SVU. I sometimes wonder why there is not a thread about SVU. Now you have 2 or 3 threads that i post in weekly.

I am not sure. I would have to see tonights episode. Does not seem like it though.

Law & Order: SVU on NBC in HD

Perhaps someone will make a "Law & Order: Criminal Intent on NBC in HD" thread as well

didn't know they were sisters, but "Olivia's replacement" is indeed Connie Nielsen, who has been in several movies. With last night's episode's ending, and Olivia appearing in next week's, something tells me the CN won't be in too many more episodes.
I don't think they are sisters or related. IMDB doesn't make any reference to it either.

Great episode tonight, titled 'Scheherezade'.
The ending was touching. I think the women who played Brian Dennehy's daughter Paget Brewster was pretty.
HD and DD 5.1 here in Texas.

I thought it was an ok episode last night, titled 'Burned'.
The show reminded me of this past weeks Masters of Horror, about the burn victims.

I noticed Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson had some small arguments aswell.

I'm guessing that NBC is giving Adam Beach a tryout as Fin's new partner...

A NBC viewers survey suggested that John Munch will be departing...

They should be dumping Fin (a long time ago)...why any network would hire a "gangsta" rapper for a police drama is beyond me and the guy is not that good in the role anyways but I like all the other characters and the show does delve into personal lives a lot more than the original L&O (IMHO).

Good episode last night.
I do not like how all the networks are spacing out the programs I watch. It would be awesome if next Tuesday would be a new episode of SVU.
Well, I guess I have good luck this week.
Next new episode is 4/3/07 titled 'Responsible '

Is Tim Daly under contract to play religious fanatics for NBC? He played David Koresh on a made-for-TV movie and now he... well, don't want to blow it for those that haven't seen it but let's just say Daly does his best Ted Haggard routine to date on last night's "SVU." And didn't a "Criminal Intent" episode already ripped-off the Haggard scandal (with Tom Arnold as the preacher no less)? It's no wonder the ratings for all three "L&O" shows are down this year (although "SVU's" are much higher than the other two), they're not only ripping the news but fighting for carcasses amongst themselves!

So that's why I felt a sense of deja-vu last night...

Great episode tonight.
The HD signal was coming in really bad the first 10 minutes of the broadcast. The rest of the showing was HD & DD 5.1

It seemed Olivia changed her hairstyle this season.
Last nights episode was wild.

I have the episodes saved since the start of the season, so I havent frequented this thread in a while. Anyhow, I've come to the conclusion that this show survives because of the actors, not the story. Please don't take this as a critique of SVU being bad, I LOVE this show; er, I love these actors. The stories seem very much of the same formula. I do like that Wolf is exploring the characters personal life more. Like Olivia with her brother, and Eliot with the family problems. Even ICE-T and the family issues he had late last season.

These actors (and actresses, if you will) are prolific and will probably go on beyond SVU. (They make a ton of dollars per episode.) Ok, so what sparked me to write this was that I just saw that Chris Meloni has many things coming down the pike...http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005221/#actor2000
He's got movies in the queue!

In addition, Mariska is a mom and had been in plays down in TriBeCa (at least she did a couple of years ago.) I think she was in a david mamet play or something.

Any, this weekend I'll catch up on the SVU episodes, and hope that these actors stick around for us all to admire

Yeah, the people who star in this show are great.
I also like seeing into their personal lives.

nashvillecat,
Last nights episode, titled "Fight"? and orignally aired on 10/02/2007 was pretty odd.

"Fight" ? I saw an episode I think called "Avatar".

This was an obvious parody for Second Life. Although very strange, this episode does parallel what is curently available online.

(I missed it, but wasn't the creator of the Universe on SVU named Windell? If it was, quite a play on words with Lindel Labs.)
I figured they were making a play at the name for Jonathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel- he's a champion gamer whose name and likeness are now appearing in a lot of advertising for computer companies. The Second Life parody was easier to catch.

Whoops, yeah that was it. The odd episode was titled "Avatar"
Ohh ok, I do not think I have seen Second Life. I might have.
.

Good episode last night. It was about those Teacher sex scandels. (So they made you think.)

Good to see Melissa Joan Hart on TV again.
I amused to see the Heroes ad on the NYC bus when it was dropping off Shane at the hotel. I wonder if that was coincidence...

Stay tuned for next week's "SVU" and its gripping 20-minute long police chase across midtown Manhattan of the runaway bus with the "Bionic Woman" poster on the side!

This past week (I watched the recoding of it Friday night), in typical SVU fashion, very disturbing subject matter.
